Acupuncture
We offer acupuncture as an important part of our team approach, coordinating care
with our doctors and physical therapists.

Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine are used to ease pain and treat
many health problems.  Five thousand years of experience and wisdom have
evolved into a natural system of examination and treatment that many consider to be
the original holistic health care.

The human body has 20 major meridians or energy channels with approximately
400 different acupuncture points.  Acupuncturists use these points to rebalance
energy flow (referred to as Qi and usually pronounced as “chee”) and allow your
body’s natural healing mechanisms to take over.

Acupuncture, using needles and sometimes electricity, is used in conjunction with
other forms of Traditional Chinese Medicine such as:
Herbal Medicine, Cupping,
Medical Massage, Qi Gong, Foot Reflexology and Tai Chi.
Treatments is
successful for pain relief, relaxation and to speed healing but can also help many
